We worked with orphanage centers for more than 20 years, forming bonds and communities that remain in contact, we work through people with international experience. We want to transmit all our knowledge to help you have a great experience with us. Our staff travels regularly to our program destinations to experience first-hand programs and ensure that high standards of impact, safety and professionalism are met. We know all aspects of the program: accommodation, hospitality, projects and locations to which volunteers contribute. We help prepare for your trips and understand what it is like to travel to a new country for the first time. Our deep knowledge and experience means that we can provide outstanding service, support and advice to thousands of volunteers.
At Phaedra we recognize that a volunteer travel experience is much more than just volunteering. We have standards for risk management that we apply in each program and our volunteers are located in reliable institutions, organizations and families that have been evaluated by our local teams. Phaedra staff members will conduct periodic audits of each program to ensure the safety of volunteers. We have contact with embassies in each country, under any circumstances.
